Immigration and Customs Enforcement wasted more than $20 million in taxpayers' dollars on migrant detention center initiatives that the federal agency cannot recover, according to a report released by the U.S. Government Accountability Office. The report also stressed “urgent planning” is needed to avoid more taxpayer money from being wasted.
