Today I want to write about @0xMiden
One of the more interesting projects in the ZK space right now.
Miden calls itself an "Edge Blockchain."
Instead of every node executing and re-verifying a transaction...
The user runs the transaction on their own phone or laptop.
They generate a STARK proof.
The network just checks that proof.
This is called **client-side proving**.
Result: higher scalability + privacy by default.
A few key points:
🔹 Started at Meta, later moved to Polygon
🔹 Went fully independent in April 2025
🔹 Raised ~$25M from a16z crypto and others
🔹 Not EVM compatible
🔹 Has its own VM (Miden VM)
🔹 Contracts are written in Rust
🔹 Bread → their private wallet
🔹 USDCx → privacy-preserving stablecoin backed by USDC
🔹 Currently in testnet, running v0.16

I stopped trusting my own opinions the day I started trading them.
On Twitter I said a hundred confident things I never had to defend. No cost, no clock, no consequence. Just a take out into the void, forgotten by the next scroll.
@Polymarket does not let you get away with that. The moment you put money behind this happens, your opinion has to survive contact with a price. Not likes. Not a clever reply. A number that moves against you in real time if you are wrong.
That is the actual test. Not do I sound right in the replies, but would I pay for this to be true. Most of my hot takes fail that test immediately. Turns out conviction is easy when it is free.
What I like about Polymarket is not the betting. It is the accountability built into the format. The fact that price does not care how smart your argument sounded, only whether it was correct.
