Well, this is sad and terrible: “Many experts believe that estrangements between adult children and their parents are becoming an epidemic in the U.S.” “Psychologists say young adults’ definition of harmful parental behavior is changing.” They “consider ordinary conflict to be much worse than it once was” and “have a much broader definition than their elders of psychological harm.” “Many now view repeated criticism, strong disagreements and other painful relationship conflicts as abusive.” “In their minds, they see themselves as more enlightened and therefore more justified to cut off for more reasons.”

I feel like it’s fashionable to beat up on adult kids who go no contact with their parents, but in a lot of cases if you bothered to look at the specifics, it’s more than justified. You can love someone without talking to them every day

Cutting off is much different than not talking to them every day. Gen X raised some damn snowflakes and those snowflakes have no idea how to have a normal relationship with anyone

It’s not just “not talking to them everyday.” It’s literally them cutting off their parents as the article states. And MANY of these are NOT justified - how many have admitted they’ve cut ties with parents due to politics? It’s pathetic

How do you know many of them aren’t justified?

Did you just compare "no contact" to "not taking to them every day"

Yes I did, because for all intensive purposes, if I only talk to someone a few times a year, I’m not in contact with them

In my experience, it’s not. It’s just a brainwashed liberal shithead thinking that simple differences are paramount to abuse. Btw, destruction of the family is what destroys nations. Great Job being an advocate for the problem!

How am i advocating for the problem? Can you show me anywhere in my post where I advocated for people to cut each other off when there isn’t just cause?

They raised snowflakes meaning they game them idea that their feelings are important, but at the same time they did something, that's would be considered an abuse, under the same standards they raised their children. Concerning. Or you are just brainless

I’d love to answer your point but I’m having a hard time understanding the grammar of your statement here, is English your first language?
