A Canadian-registered Gulfstream G100 air ambulance (tail C-GRJP, call sign HTT104), operated by Latitude Air Ambulance of Hamilton, Ontario, was flying from Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport to Boston Logan with six people aboard. It left around 11:40 p.m. Friday. The FAA lost radio and radar contact early Saturday (search-and-rescue alert around 1:20 a.m. ET). The plane had declared an emergency; radio traffic and later reports mention electrical problems. Tracking data showed a rapid drop from about 24,000 feet to about 11,000 feet before the signal ended.
Seems like something electrical and just crashed into the ocean…. 👀
