This whole thing has become comical. The NCAA couldn’t have mismanaged this eligibility rule change worse. They screwed over the high school class of 2022. It would be an easy fix to right the wrong, but they won’t, and they are portraying the victims of their wrong doing as villains. I’m not sure if this is theatre in an attempt to show congress that they need an antitrust exemption, or incompetence. Either way, it’s exhausting.

Ohio governor Mike DeWine with an executive order which looks to give every class of 2022 athlete at Ohio colleges a fifth year.
Now the big question is whether other Governors will follow suit.

Classic government overreach and borderline ethnocentrism.
International student-athletes (and students in general) provide so much to the culture of colleges and universities across the country.
Safe to say we have enough things to fix, without THIS being a focus.
Rep. Tim Walberg and Sen. Jon Husted are introducing a bill that limits the amount of international athletes on a college sports roster to 20%.
The bill is called ‘‘Training and Education for American Members in University Sports and Athletics Act.”
