The problem with the playoff/playoff expansion is NOT access or ruining the regular season. The problem is that the playoff has become the ONLY thing to measure success by. Bowl games need to matter. High-level bowl games need to matter. The playoff can’t be the end-all-be-all.

“24 ruins the tradition of college football”
Players are getting paid $3 million a year and transferring 4 times
Teams are playing 3 FCS schools to protect their record for the playoff
But yeah 24 teams and getting rid of the Poptart bowl will definitely ruin CFB
CFP leaders are closer than ever to expanding to a 24-team playoff. They are talking buyouts of conference title games and scheduling logistics of doubling the field.
Foregone conclusion?
“If we can get a decent (TV) deal, we are definitely going to 24.”

Asked Lincoln Riley how does he reassure the USC fanbase the sky isn’t falling:
“By winning, just by winning. Look, we didn't get run out stadium. There's a lot of good things on that tape.
“You don't have a chance to win a game like that if you don't do some things pretty well”

USC was ranked No. 12 last week…calling a top 12 ranked team “average”…
They were ranked No. 16 going into their bowl game last season.
Once again…calling top 25 teams average is ignorance.
Lincoln Riley's future is in doubt at USC despite $70M buyout.
Can't blame the Trojans for being fed up with being average: cbssports.com/college-footba…

Btw, if Usman wanted to hit Song, he would’ve hit Song let’s be real
He was in a stake of panic cuz his brother was colded, is a professional fighter, and had a dude charging right at him and reacted like a fighter would
But still had the sense to realize Song was just celebrating and focused on his brother immediately after the tiny interaction
No issue with any of it, it was a brother reacting like a brother

Reggie Bush got his Heisman Trophy back… so when is Mark Ingram going to return the Heisman trophy to Toby Gerhart?!
Gerhart: 1,871 yards, 28 TDs
Ingram: 1,658 yards, 17 TDs
Everyone saying, “Ohio State won the playoff, and they were the better team” is completely missing the point.
Ohio State lost TWO games to Michigan and Oregon. In the old system, they’re not even playing for a national championship.
2008 USC lost to Oregon State. Did that suddenly mean Oregon State was the better team? 😂 USC finished 12-1, allowed 9.0 POINTS PER GAME, ranked #1 nationally in scoring defense and held opponents to 221.8 yards per game. That defense has a legitimate argument as one of the greatest ever.
Give that USC team a 12-team playoff and they would’ve dog-walked everybody.
That’s the point: the expanded playoff changed what losing a regular-season game means which made college football so epic every Saturday

Jazzy Davidson is unbelievable. USC women are getting smoked by a great South Carolina team and Jazzy is easily the best player on the court. When Juju comes back next year USC will be a huge problem. Not even considering the 3 5stars incoming like Saniyah Hall
