Why does almost every domestic violence case end with alimony/maintenance?
Why not with the word COMPENSATION after TRIAL?
Are the allegations so baseless that the woman is unable to prove them?
Or are the courts not capable enough to prosecute and establish the alleged offences?
Or are lawyers unable to prove their own cases?
The moment a domestic violence case is filed, why does everyone start running behind the end result—maintenance, settlement, alimony, money?
What happened to trial, evidence, proof, cross-examination and conviction?
If the allegations are true, prove them.
If they are false, let the accused be acquitted.
But why should a criminal allegation automatically become a financial negotiation before the truth is even established?
A case should end with a verdict—not a price tag.
