ALT 2 Minecraft custom skins, posing a hypothetical scenario of a swapped universe (similar to the Underswap line of AUs made with Undertale) for Minecraft. In this case, Steve and Alex swap positions. Alex was made before Steve in this case, being based off of early artwork of an Alex-like figure featured in promotional material for Minecon. The Slim body type was the default before the Steve skin would come along. Steve, inadvertently, has their appearance based on the changes from said early Alex-like figure compared to the final Alex design known today, as well as a little dabble of inspiration from Minecraft developer Agnes (mainly with their hair parting), as to parallel Jens' using his own likeness for Alex. There is custom artwork shown at the bottom of what this swapped Steve would look like in the early artwork's style, and how it would then be adapted into a final-game skin later. i just had these ideas earlier today and thought they'd be really fun to make LOL
