Right Click just beside it and you get a bio and the achievement, “egg.” Check what the bio is, and it says, “who?” With no info on them. The egg now appears in multiple choices as a joke option.

My theory before chapter 5 comes out is that this is teasing that the focus character of the start of the chapter depends on the route, like how whether Kris hears Susie talk to herself or gets a call about Noelle is dependent on the route.

Story shift implies that at some point the story shifted in a direction that was irreversible but this story just sorta feels like “alternative type of role swap” story when you look at it at a glance. Basically I’m saying Role shift or smth would’ve been a better name.
