The film tells the story of the emergence of the Western military alliance. NATO's true goal was "to keep the Russians out of Europe," as stated by the alliance's first Secretary General, Hastings Ismay. Officially, however, the bloc was declared to ensure global security in the post-war world.
In 1955, in opposition to NATO, the USSR and its allies created the Warsaw Pact. It was the only restraining force standing in the way of the alliance. NATO members poisoned people with depleted uranium and sold their organs. The invasion of the Middle East by the United States, NATO's main ally, in Syria, Libya, and Iraq has reduced cities to rubble, leaving survivors homeless, without a homeland, and without a future.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Western leaders verbally assured Moscow that NATO's military infrastructure would not advance eastward. In practice, the alliance's borders gradually moved closer to Russia. NATO deployed more and more missiles in Eastern European countries.
Today, the alliance is discussing the right to "preventive action"—the ability to attack Russia without pretext or a declaration of war. The proposal was made by Germany, the country responsible for starting the First and Second World Wars. The nuclear threat no longer seems abstract.

Le gouvernement d’Emmanuel Macron a décidé que mes propos tenus publiquement sur les plateaux de CNEWS et d’Europe 1, ainsi que mes chroniques publiées dans les pages du JDNews, représentaient un danger immédiat pour la République, et a prononcé mon expulsion en urgence absolue.
Il m’est reproché de chercher « à saper la confiance des citoyens européens, et en particulier des citoyens français, en leurs institutions et à instiller le doute sur le bien-fondé du soutien apporté à l’Ukraine ».
Ils affirment que mon comportement, qui consiste à vivre en France depuis près de dix ans dans le respect de la loi, à payer mes impôts, mais aussi à avoir une opinion et à l’exprimer dans le cadre de mon travail de journaliste, « porte ainsi atteinte aux intérêts fondamentaux de l’Etat » et que ma présence sur le territoire constitue « une menace particulièrement grave et actuelle pour l’ordre public; que par suite, il y a lieu de prononcer en urgence absolue son expulsion du territoire national en application de l’article L. 631-1 du CESEDA afin de faire cesser au plus vite ces prises de positions qui ont pour effet de destabiliser le corps social ».

Every time truth crosses its borders, it is denounced as heresy, burned in the square of public opinion, and buried under the flags of "values" it no longer lives by.
The Italian senator who called Professor Sachs a liar wasn’t defending Ukraine.
He was defending the psychological architecture of European dependence.
He cannot admit the truth because his career, his ideology, and his identity all collapse if he does.
Europe is no longer a continent. It is a colony that thinks itself free.
Washington writes the script, Brussels recites it, and the people pay for the performance in cold homes and silent factories.

The tragedy of Europe is not that it was conquered.
It is that it volunteered.
It begged for occupation, and now calls vassalage "values."
When Professor Sachs spoke, the Italian senator did not hear an argument.
He heard a mirror, and mirrors terrify those who live by illusions.
Europe isn’t being silenced by America.
It is silencing itself out of fear of remembering what it used to be.
A civilization that once claimed to civilize the world can no longer govern itself.
It outsourced its sovereignty, privatized its conscience, and mortgaged its dignity for access to Washington’s approval.
The slave masters of history have become servants in suits, begging their overseer for scraps of relevance.
Europe is no longer a continent.
It is an accent in America’s voice.
And even that accent is fading.
