Tried the web search in Hermes desktop today. Search kept failing, so I dug in. Turns out the settings screen writes the wrong backend, and your free Perplexity search just dies. Debugged it, PR is up: github.com/NousResearch/herm… Shoukd get merged. Until the a small warning ⚠️

@NousResearch I’m having an issue enabling Fast Search in Hermes. I’m logged into the Portal, but my account shows: "managed_tools=False" "web entitlement=false" Fast Search returns: "403 SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED" "tool_gateway_paid_access_required" Is there something I need to enable on my account, or is Fast Search not available to all Portal accounts yet?

Free search is a solid flex, but "free" usually means your queries train someone's model or rate limits make it useless for real agents. What are the actual limits on the free tier?

Is there a way to make Hermes good with repetitive tasks? I feel like when I teach it one and then go to another thread and try to have it use skills and do that task, it gets confused
