The South African Police Service (SAPS) is currently conducting an operation at a plot in the Hartbeespoort Dam area, where a multimillion-rand Mandrax manufacturing laboratory has been uncovered.
North West Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Adams, is currently on the scene overseeing the operation.
SAPS members have uncovered what is believed to be a facility used for the illicit manufacture of Mandrax. The quantity of drugs and estimated street value are still being determined.
