بصراحة جميع الناس لديهم آراء في كرة القدم قد تصيب وتخطئ .. فهي كرة قدم وليس لها قالب واحد وإلا لكانت مملة. حتى جوارديولا لو جاء ليتكلم ساعة، سيقول شيء ويحدث عكسه لاحقاً .. وفعلاً هال سيتي نظرياً يجب ألا تتوقع منه الكثير لكن ما يفعله عكس المنطق وما زلنا في بداية الموسم… حتى كومبيوتر سكاي توقع لهم المركز الأخير عمليات الاستهداف والتصيد سيئة جداً .. ودائماً سؤالي "ماذا يستفيد من يجعل هدفه ووقته اصطياد شخص؟"

A welcome fit for a king 👑

Mohamed Salah jugó en la Roma o el Liverpool, que de grandes aficiones algo saben, y aún así está sin palabras viendo su propria presentación con Trabzonspor. Teléfono en mano y todo para grabar como cantan para él. Absurdamente INCREÍBLE.

Mo Salah was incredibly loyal to Liverpool for years when he could have gone anywhere in the world. The level he played at consistently during a time when City and Liverpool rewrote the standards for club football in the UK are unmatched by ANY player in Europe, I don't care who he is. Doing that week in week out with no injuries in a league as intense as the premier league at the level City and Liverpool were playing surpasses anything Messi and Ronaldo did in my opinion. Ronaldo had one or two great seasons in the UK, same for Suarez, Torres etc, even John Barnes only did it for 3 seasons. I stick by that, he was the best all things considered, especially in terms of a role model to all our kids. I will follow how he is doing for the rest of his career and watch as many games for Trabzonspor as I can.

A lot of people have judged this transfer based on what *they* projected Salah should or would do, rather than what *he* wants and needs at this stage of his career after feeling forced out at Liverpool, where he planned on retiring. Salah’s intention was to remain in Europe, at an ambitious club that genuinely wanted him to play a leading role in helping them win things, where he could still provide meaning and had a passionate fanbase to feed off, in a city where his family could feel comfortable and not restricted. There was a desire to experience something new. Signing for another Premier League club was a no, and after already succeeding at Fiorentina and Roma, Serie A did not appeal to Salah in the way it did to those who romanticised a return. Trabzonspor was not the best financial package put in front of him this summer, neither was it the one that could most supercharge his brand. The Saudi Pro League presented the former, while at least four MLS clubs pitched the latter. Trabzonspor also handled their pursuit quietly and respectfully, refusing to even disclose talks where happening until an agreement was reached. They didn’t play every detail out in the press like Besiktas, whose motives were judged to be more PR-driven. How they handled things were neatly summed up by their ‘didn’t want him anyway’ stance
