🇺🇸 In Virginia, a 64-year-old man was charged after he taped his wife to a chair in the basement so he could watch football upstairs.
Terry Ward was arrested last Sunday night in Richmond after officers responded to a domestic call.
According to the criminal complaint, his wife said he used tape to restrain her to a chair in the basement.
Ward admitted he tied her up and left her there.
She had marks and tape residue on both arms and told police she had been restrained for up to 45 minutes.
He faces felony abduction and misdemeanor assault on a family member
He is due in court on November 10.
This is not a difficult concept to grasp:
Jayden Daniels deserves to be criticized for lacking awareness (throwing the ball away on 4th down) and plays where he missed reads/throws
Jayden Daniels deserves to be praised for throwing for 300 yards, 2 TDs, and no TOs and being the only consistent source of life on offense against a great defense while fighting an injury
If you can't acknowledge both, then you are either driving an agenda or didn't watch the game in full

Jayden Daniels …
1) Has made it through 2 games without exiting for injury for the second time since the start of 2025. The brace is working and his elbow has withstood heavy contact.
2) Is playing really well. Picked SF’s defense apart in the second half last night and was able to nearly win a game without his feet at all. He’s been exceptional over his last 10 quarters.
3) Has made one boneheaded play in each of last two games. Final play vs NYG and 4th down throwaway in first half last night.
4) Gives them a chance almost every time he plays and against nearly any opponent. Keeps them in games.
5) Has not started in a Commanders win in 380 days (8 games). This isn’t corollary; he’s played well enough to win several times. Clearly just him being on the field and being good isn’t a failsafe.
6) Does not turn the ball over. His career INT rate is 1.5%, almost identical to Aaron Rodgers’ all-time leading 1.5% over a legendary 22-year career.
7) Probably should take more risks. The never throwing an interception thing is a gift and sometimes a curse. I think not wanting to take risks made the bad 4th down throwaway possible last night. I think it also explains some of Daniels’ struggles vs man coverage (smaller windows).
8) Is a healthy 11-game finish away from a second contract. No reason to wait out further evaluate him. Pay him as soon as you can IF he can prove durable the rest of the way in 2026.
I’ll critique my QB but I wouldn’t want anyone else as my QB1 right now… and my critique are pretty much results from an inept coaching staff - not my QB directly.

The Chris Paul sabotage saga:
- Steps on Jayden causing him to trip and dislocate his elbow
- Steps on Jayden again vs the Giants messing up the last play in OT
- Gets a ridiculous facemask call negating the most important TD of the season
Get him away from my QB.
The comeback was nice, but the reality is that Washington over its last 18 regular-season games now is 3-14-1 with a point differential of -168.
This team is so far from what it should be in Season No. 3 of the Adam Peters/Dan Quinn regime.
Unacceptable and inexcusable.
