Ben Simmons calls Doc Rivers a “piece of shit” in his new documentary, Being Ben: “How did I feel? I was like, ‘What a piece of shit’… When times get tough, people start panicking. People throw people under the bus, and that's just what happened.”

This is not a slight to Jalen at all, but this is very dangerous to describe what he did as being “committed to football.” You don’t have to risk your life in the middle of a health crises to be committed to football. This is toxic. I expect better from you. The team failed him
How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD.

White woman married Muslim man and converted. The shock, the surprise His wife wears a Hijab publicly so why do you think his mom’s wearing of a headscarf or not is secretive?
Just something about this clip of Abdul El Sayed with his step-mother. The way they tried to hide her headscarf under the straw hat. The long sleeves with a jean vest in July. Covering all her skin and wrapping it in denim. Jacqueline Johnson converted when she became Jacqueline El Sayed and offers one of the most stark warnings possible. Oh, and his bio mom is the one who was funneling money to Hamas and Al Qaeda. There's no safe passage here.

In this looong thread, you forgot the little part where he wasn’t raised by his birth mother from infancy. The ties you’re claiming are her working for an organization that donated to an affiliated MB organization. That she wasn’t charged or named a co-conspirator for
Abdul El-Sayed told a reporter yesterday that scrutiny of him is “the same thing that they did to JFK when he ran for president… the notion that because he was Catholic, that somehow he had dual loyalty.” I have written about JFK. That claim is a grotesque perversion of history. In 1960, no Catholic had ever been elected president. Al Smith’s 1928 landslide loss was driven in large part by Protestant fears—rooted in centuries of Reformation conflict and reinforced by nativist suspicion—that a Catholic president would answer to the Vatican rather than the Constitution. JFK met it head-on in Houston in 1960, pledging absolute separation of church and state, and the charge collapsed because there was nothing under it. That is not what is happening with El-Sayed. Being Muslim is not the disqualifier. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, serves as Minnesota’s attorney general. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib serve in the House. Zohran Mamdani is mayor of New York City. CAIR’s own 2026 directory counts roughly 255 Muslim elected officials nationwide, including four in the House and dozens in state legislatures. Voters have repeatedly elected Muslims to state and federal office without treating their faith as disqualifying. The issue is not prayer; it is politics, associations, and family ties to an ideology that rejects the secular liberal order El-Sayed claims to defend. El-Sayed flatly denied on Meet the Press any family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which the U.S. listed this year as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity for material support to Hamas. His half-sister, University of Chicago professor Eman Abdelhadi, has posted otherwise. In 2012 she wrote: “My family has long been MB,” though she added that it “navigated the political sphere poorly/destructively.” In 2013 she wrote that she had “family jailed for being a part of it.” She also wrote of her mother’s early-1970s Brotherhood activism in college. Their mother, Fatten Elkomy, later worked for the U.S. arm of a charity network Treasury designated in 2004 for supporting al-Qaeda; she was never charged. El-Sayed calls the posts “hearsay” and distances himself from his mother by saying he wasn’t raised by her. But his flat denial and his sister’s own words can’t both be right. There is more. El-Sayed confirmed on camera that his sister-in-law was on the federal terror watchlist. She sued, a district court ruled in her favor, and an appeals court reversed. The FBI won’t say where she stands now. No one accuses him of any role. His father-in-law is a longtime board member of the Islamic Society of North America. None of these questions are about how he prays; they are questions about reported links to an organization whose Egyptian branch the United States has now formally labeled for supporting terrorism. After a man rammed a vehicle into Temple Israel synagogue near Detroit in an attack authorities treated as targeted at Jews, El-Sayed’s response included the line “hurt people hurt people.” He later apologized under pressure from Jewish Democrats, saying he should not have offered “context” that trampled on the victims’ pain. That is not the language of someone simply defending religious freedom. He has also campaigned repeatedly with Hasan Piker, who in 2019 said “America deserved 9/11.” El-Sayed later called the remark “dumb” and said America did not deserve the attacks, but the association remains. Voters are entitled to notice who a candidate chooses to platform. JFK faced prejudice against his faith. El-Sayed faces reporting on his family’s documented embrace of a group now designated by the U.S. government for supporting Hamas, his own comments after an attack on a synagogue, and his political alliances. Equating the two is not a defense of religious liberty. It is an attempt to weaponize a real historical injustice in order to shut down legitimate questions about radicalism and national security. The Constitution protects the free exercise of religion. It does not require voters or journalists to pretend that family ties to a designated terrorist organization, or responses to domestic terrorism, are off-limits simply because the candidate is Muslim. History is not a prop for that evasion.

They played him with blood clots in his LUNGS fresh out the hospital bed WITHOUT SLEEPING. Everybody who was part of that decision should be fired. Negligent doesn't even come close to describing this. These the same ppl that want us to think they take concussions seriously.
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.

The replies to this defending pastors “borrowing” from each other are amazing. But sticking by a pastor who’s admitted to using AI to think like a Bible scholar for him is a pretty strong indicator that you wouldn’t care if he also let others write his apologies for him.
Honestly, love that JHowe is getting more attention. He thinks he wants it, but if he was smart really wouldn’t. #PlagiarizingPastors .

When has Rashford played ahead of Cunha to suggest Rashford has taken Cunha’s place? What’s this madness!! And you here trying to blame Rashford for his wages?

Lol first of all, how many times has Rashford started over or even come on before Cunha. These people just invent topics from their head and start to form narratives. Then again, it’s a daily show. Creativity is required to maintain interest
🚨🗣 @alex_crook on Marcus Rashford: "I think his return has been a PROBLEM. I think there are probably some UNHAPPY players in that dressing room because he's earning so much money. "I think it's also been an ISSUE for Matheus Cunha because it's his place that Marcus Rashford took, and you can see that Cunha is SULKING a little bit. "There was such a GOOD BALANCE at the top end of the pitch last season with Cunha, Mbeumo, Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo and Šeško when he was fit. "Marcus Rashford, not on a personal level, but just because those players feel aggrieved, I think he's UPSET the balance of the attack and isn't putting the numbers on the board at the moment to justify that HUGE SALARY.” [@talkSPORT]

When you leave South Africa, for whatever reason, do you cease to be South African?
A person will flee from Islamic countries because of wars, and run into a Christian country, but once settled in that Christian country, they still want to practice the Islamic religion that drove them out of their countries in the first place. I struggle to understand this logic.

What would you advise a listener who REQUIRES bags and vacations from her boyfriend? 😭

If someone completely not tied to any campaign asked this question, this could be a fair point. But when something is done in bad faith, it should be treated as if it was done in bad faith
People don't ask him this because he's a Muslim (his opponent might be Islamophobic and plant this idea in the community). Blaming the voter (the staffer is still a voter) won't help anyone win votes. He should stay calm and give a straight answer rather than making a straw man.

Because if a Republican candidate had loose ties to an extremist right wing group, it definitely wouldn’t be a story the media would chase. Totally off-limits, no matter how dubious the link.

The amount of people commenting and reposting this defending property taxes is astonishing. No way this many people love paying taxes! Property taxes are a joke. The government can provide schools, roads, emergency services, etc. with the money they take from our income, sales, etc. if they weren't corrupt and foolish. I don't need to pay $3800 a year for schools I don't even use.
