On Friday, Sept. 18, the OSU Alumni Association honored Jami Longacre and six others with the OSU Distinguished Alumni Award.
Jami Longacre graduated in 1993 with a degree in agricultural economics.
Following graduation, Longacre worked fro the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture under the Secretary of Agriculture and later served as the Director of Policy and Govermental Affairs for the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association. She later founded Longacre Inc. a full-service legislative consulting firm, and has spent three decades navigating complex public policy issues and representing clients before Oklahoma Legislature, executive branch and state agencies.
Jami was named a Distinguished Alumni of the
@okstateferguson College of Agriculture, is a past chair of Women for OSU, serves on the
@OSUFoundation Board of Governors, the Code Calls National Campaign committee and has served on the OSU Alumni Association Board and Dean of Agriculture's Advisory Council.
