Day 58 of my Data Analytics Journey 📊
The Capstone Project is finally live! 🎉🥂
From Day 1 — Zero Knowledge0️⃣
To Day 58 — A Fully Built Capstone Dashboard📊.
This journey has reinforced one thing: if you don't start, your reality will remain assumptions. Growth comes from
The dataset will be messy,
The columns will be confusing,
The numbers won’t always make sense.
And sometimes, your first job isn’t finding insights,
It’s figuring out what the hell you’re looking at😂📊.
Dear Data Analyst,
Your next opportunity may not care how much you’ve studied,
It may care about what you can actually show.
Less “I’m still learning.”
More “Here’s what I built.”📊
Your journey may look slow because you’re watching it every day.
But look back 6 months later…
You’ll realize you’re no longer the person who started.
Keep going, the progress is there📈.
Sometimes I open an old project and think:
Who wrote this thing?😂
Then I remember…..”Me”😂.
And suddenly I realize how much I’ve actually improved.
Growth doesn’t always feel like growth while you’re in it.
Sometimes you only notice it when you look back📊.
“You never know who’s watching,
Keep showing📊”
…..Something powerful I got from someone’s post today, you’re free to take it home too……Don’t mention🙂↔️🤚
“Build in public. Be consistent. Show up.”
Sounds like generic internet advice until a client tells you:
“I Googled something about Excel and found you.”
Another said they searched LinkedIn and kept seeing my posts.
You never know who’s watching.
Keep showing up.
5 things I’ve learnt while building myself:📊
1. Skills take time, don’t rush the process just because someone else looks ahead.
2. A roadmap saves you from unnecessary confusion.
3. You don’t have to learn everything at once.
4. Practice will
Learning a tool and knowing how to use it are two different things. The real value comes from understanding the business problem and applying the right tool to solve it effectively.
That’s where technical skills meet business thinking. Well done💪💯
Good morning
The goal isn’t to become the person who knows the most tools.
The goal is to become the person who can look at a problem and say:
“I know how to approach this.”📊
You don’t need to learn everything at once.
You need to learn the right things in the right order📊
Excel → Power BI → SQL
Stop collecting tutorials,
Start building skills.
#DataAnalysis#DataFam
Nobody posts the hours spent staring at a messy dataset
Nobody posts the broken formulas
Nobody posts the DAX error you fought for 2 hours😂
They post the beautiful dashboard at the end.
Remember that when your own journey feels slow.
