An orphaned grizzly cub and an older polar bear have found a special friend in each other at the Detroit Zoo. 🐻💓
Jebbie, the little grizzly, was found alone in Alaska when he was still too young to survive on his own. In July, he was brought to the Detroit Zoo, where he met Laerke, a polar bear cub who was also growing up without her mother.
It didn’t take long for the two to become close. From chasing each other and wrestling to rolling around on the ground and simply playing like two bear cubs, they seem to do almost everything together.
