We had a fun week at Oglebay Park for our 2026 OVAC Golf Championships! Congratulations to our medalists for our six tournaments! We thank all participants, coaches, representatives, and supporters for a great 2026 tournament week.

On this day, the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, we remember and honor those who tragically perished and those that answered the call to help their fellow American on that infamous day.

We are just two weeks away from the first 2026-27 championship! Our 2026 Golf Championships will be held September 15-17 at Oglebay Park, while our 2026 Soccer Championships are set for Saturday, September 26. Be sure to join us this September as we begin championship season!

The 2026 OVAC Basketball Summit will be held on Sunday, November 15 at 12:30 PM. All OVAC Basketball officials are welcome to attend. A location for the summit will be announced at a later date.

NEW SCHOOL ALERT! We welcome Western Reserve High School from Berlin Center, OH to the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference! The Blue Devils will begin competing in OVAC Class 1A immediately.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The dates for our 2026-27 OVAC Cheering Competitions have been set! Our Jr. High Championships and our High School and Middle School Game Day Competition will be held November 21, while the OVAC High School Cheering Championships will be held February 13, 2027.

Our 2026-27 Athletic Season officially begins TODAY! Our Ohio Boys and Girls Golf teams begin competition today while our West Virginia Boys and Girls Golf teams tee of their seasons tomorrow. We wish all fall teams, athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, and fans the best of luck this fall sports season!

Its hard to believe it has been TWO WEEKS already since the 80th Annual OVAC Rudy Mumley All-Star Football Game was played.. Here are some snapshots to look back on from game day. We are less than three weeks away from the 2026 football season!

For the first time this past Sunday, we had the top girls basketball players in the Ohio Valley take part in the OVBCA Elite Showcase! The selected girls players were able to take part in drills and games to show their skills off to attending college coaches. We thank all attending boys and girls players, all administrators for organizing, and all attending college coaches!

An Ohio Valley legend returned home this weekend to scout some local basketball talent. National Champion Head Coach Jim Crutchfield of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL was in attendance for the 2026 OVBCA Elite Showcase! Great to see Coach Crutchfield at The ECO Center in St. Clairsville today!
