I am unapologetically Yoruba First. As my sister Titilola Damilola wrote somewhere yesterday, the fact that I subscribe to #ThinkYorubaFirst and pursue Yoruba interests doesn't mean I desire the downfall or marginalisation of other regions. It is only very natural and sensible for me to love myself more than I will ever love any other person and I don't have to hate you to love myself. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has enough PR PROFESSIONALS whose shoes I may not even be able to lace, so I don't have to come to social media to be singing Tinubu praises because he is a Yoruba man. No! I come to social media to talk about the progress of Yoruba land. That is my priority. I don't interfere on Tinubu matter unless the attacks on his are on account of his being Yoruba. I will surely take it up. I will also when I see such comments are borne out of ignorance especially when the comments are from Yoruba-but. Aside from the fact that Bola Tinubu is a Yoruba man, which I like very much, please who is better than him amongst the people LISTED by INEC as his opponent??? Let's leave the Yoruba and Ibo talks aside, come let's look at the issues. I can safely say that 90% of the job of the NIGERIAN President is managing and balancing politics to hold 200m multi-cultural,multi-ethnic and multi-religious people together, a people who don't even wish to be together. It is enough trouble to balance it at the local government level, even ordinary CDA or Residents Associations. Now, we are talking about NIGERIA, a country criminally established on a very fraudulent foundation and running on an iniquitous Aguiyi-Ironsi and Abacha UNITARY CONSTITUTION. You think it's a joke????? As it stands today there are ONLY THREE Nigerians who have the capacity and possibility however small to win a PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION under the settings of our Bandit Democracy. They are by no means the best brains in the country but they are the ONLY THREE ON THE LIST WITH INEC who have the capacity to dare contest Presidential Elections in our Political settings. Theyr are Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Peter Obi and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. There are other people on the INEC list like Sowore and co but we are realistic enough to know that majority of them won't win a single ward across Nigeria Now can you tell me OBJECTIVELY, on the order of MERIT, according to quality and quantity assessment, from what we know of the records of each of them, their antecedents, past records of service, articulation, brilliance, intelligence, capacity etc who comes close to President Bola Tinubu between Mr. Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar? Are you telling me you have listened to Peter Obi's words on many live TV interviews and you have the presence of mind to this man is qualified for Leadership position even in a small CDA? Does Atiku Abubakar's words and public records of service inspire confidence in you? Atiku Abubakar was Vice-President, Peter Obi was a trader and Governor of Anambra and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been Governornlf Lagos and also current President. Are you going to say that you don't have references? From what you know of these three, which one of the three is capable of effectively discharging the duties of President of Nigeria putting into consideration that 90% of the job of Nigeria's President and indeed ALL STATE Governors except Lagos State is MANAGING POLITICS.
