Recently, I sat down with Anthony Rhodes, the VP Head of US Retail, to learn about @OctopusEnergyUS and the smart technology they use to deliver 100% renewable energy to utility customers in Texas 🤓 The team showed me an EV charging app they've been developing called Octopus Charge which simplifies finding, starting, and paying for Level 2 and DC Fast charging sessions. It promises to solve the problem of making new accounts and downloading separate apps for each charging network. ✅ We completed a three day, 1,000 mile EV road trip from Houston, TX to Denver, Colorado in an @OctopusEnergyUS @Ford Mustang Mach E! Along this desolate route we were able to try out the new Octopus Charge app which helped us find, initiate, and pay for charging along the way. The app features Level 2, DC Fast charging stations, and many networks but the best part is I didn't have to make a new account and download separate apps for each charging network. Payment was a breeze (even in that Texas heat 😜 )!!
