Alongside 13 fellow Generals, I graduated from the Political Leadership and Governance Programme (PLGP), a fellowship that focuses on forming leaders guided by the principles of Social Democracy, Human dignity being at the heart of every topic. It has been a fulfilling journey since June. The 2026 cohort had some of the most amazing human beings that are passionate about ethical leadership. An interaction with each of them restored my faith in Kenya's future. The entire programme strengthened my resolve to continue pursuing just causes. Many thanks to @FesKenya for such an impactful programme and to the whole team behind the PLGP fellowship. @Ruguru_Vivienne Cynthia Muthoni and team, Thank you for accompanying us through the journey. To my fellow Generals, thank you for allowing me to experience each one of you. The work towards a free and democratic civic space in Kenya is quite a challenging one but we have been fully equipped to face the fire. Remember we walked on Fire? We are more than conquerors. Feel appreciated and recognized in no particular order; 1. Sarabel Odero @SarabelOdero 2. Fai Tundai 3. Alaman James @alaman_james 4. William Mugo 5. Cessna Ayieko @cess_ayieko 6. Wangui Kimani 7. Strong programmes need strong organisations behind them. Looking back at YOSF by @elfafrica1 , we gained valuable insights on leadership, governance and sustainability. We're carrying those lessons forward as we build Arts 4 Impact for long-term impact. #Arts4Impact #YOSF

Over the weekend, fellow aspirants joined me for a Back-to-School Giveaway. The creativity and talent I saw reminded me: Kasarani’s young people need opportunity. As a creative, I’ll champion the creative economy in @NairobiAssembly #GK4KasaraniWard #Kasarani #Creativeeconomy

Leadership begins with the courage to step forward. At Deliverance Church Sunton, Rev. Lucy encouraged young people to embrace leadership. I shared my intention to return for conversations on civic education and governance. #GK4Kasarani #YouthLeadership #Christiansinpolitics

There’s a reason they won’t push this as Grand Coalition, because they know very well this is the kind of coalition that has the potential to serve Kenyans, not their interests. A Maraga, Omtatah and Sifuna led government has the potential to right so many wrongs in this country. That is exactly why the conversation will quickly shift to who can bring votes, who has numbers and who is “electable”, not because they care about Kenya but because they need politicians they can control and who will protect the very system that has looted this country for decades. This idea that we need Person A, B or C because they will “bring votes” needs to end. Go out there and campaign for the candidate you believe in, talk to your family, talk to your cousins, talk to your grandparents, form groups, have conversations, convince people… this is how democracies are won. No one has a monopoly on votes in this country. As someone once said, THE VOTER IS THE KINGMAKER!! Why are we waiting for the same political class that helped ruin this country to tell us which direction Kenya should take? Until we understand that the opposition is not a group of wealthy politicians fighting each other but you, the people, demanding better leadership, we will keep surrendering our power to those who have never had our interests at heart. WANTAM!!

Ol Kalou voters are being bribed with cash, GOK mattresses and gas cylinders while state officials campaign with public resources. That's bribery under Section 9 of the Election Offences Act, and abuse of office under Sections 14 and 15. @IEBCKenya , @DCI_Kenya , @EACCKenya : act now. Target the offenders, not the voters. Here is the joint statement that we made earlier. #Kumekucha. #UkatibaMovement #Ukombozi

Congratulations to you, H.E @DrWorkneh The #IGAD region celebrates you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I am deeply humbled by the establishment of the "Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu Scholarship Program in Forensic Science" at the Ethiopian Police University. My profound gratitude to the Ethiopian Federal Police for this honour. Forensic science is the quiet backbone of justice, and this initiative invests in the young generation of the IGAD region who will carry that work forward long after us. I accept this gesture with humility, and with renewed commitment to the service of our region.
