Hiii! Been taking a break from social media. It's been fucking great. Highlights: I completed my 1970s RnR-salvation teenage-years memoir 😃 And Julian turned me on to one of the most amazing songs I'd never heard – The Real Thing by Russell Morris ❤️ youtu.be/wylEB-P76nA?si=KXLs…

Incredible clip. Copey tripping his gourd on a white piano while wearing a pillow case. Alfie Agius’s bass stylings. Future Smiths producer Troy Tate on guitar and the late, great Gary Dwyer, also tripping, on drums. As told in the wonderful Cope memoir Head On.

Crazy Horses is an excellent song. Ozzy knew 🖤
Remembering my brother in music, Ozzy Osbourne. I've always looked back at this commercial we shot in '03 so fondly. The last time we spoke was backstage of Dancing with The Stars season 9, when he told me how much he loved the Osmond song, "Crazy Horses"...talk about crazy! Thank you for always bringing your authentic personality to everything you've touched. From Crazy Horses to Crazy Trains, Rest In Peace.

I just can’t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park.  It’s just such heartbreaking news that I can’t really find the words, there won’t ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother. My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz. Tony

War Pigs Generals gathered in their masses Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destruction Sorcerer of death's construction In the fields, the bodies burning As the war machine keeps turning Death and hatred to mankind Poisoning their brainwashed minds Oh, Lord, yeah Politicians hide themselves away They only started the war Why should they go out to fight? They leave that all to the poor, yeah Time will tell on their power minds Making war just for fun Treating people just like pawns in chess Wait till their judgment day comes, yeah Now, in darkness, world stops turning Ashes where their bodies burning No more war pigs have the power Hand of God has struck the hour Day of Judgment, God is calling On their knees, the war pigs crawling Begging mercies for their sins Satan, laughing, spreads his wings Oh, Lord, yeah

Julian and I talk about music every day, and have probably had more positive words to say about 1970-75 Sabbath than any other band. RIP Ozzy and thank you for everything 💔

I've posted this numerous times before (because it's one of the best things I've ever seen) but never in full. Here it is, with thanks to Bobby's Heel.
The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil Jagger in full Turner mode, as the band mime their new song on the David Frost Show. This is what the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world looked like. 1968.
