What if technology could help you pause — without asking you to stay?
experimenting with that idea.
This is The Hanu Seed — Prototype 1.
30 seconds.
No feed. No notifications. No streaks.
Just a small experiment in attention.
Try it: hanu-seed.vercel.app/
Well building first ever thing we could have thought. We will drop something by end of the day and it will make us to understand Reflection. #vibecoding
Today is a little different.
It's Hanu's first birthday.
Instead of celebrating by buying something, we're going to make something.
A tiny experiment:
What if technology didn't ask for more of your attention?
What if, for just 30 seconds, it gave some back?
No money. No account. No streak. No endless scrolling.
Just 30 seconds.
We're calling it The Hanu Seed.
We don't know yet what works best.
That's enough reason to plant the first seed.
One human. One screen. One minute. One pause.
So we're going to experiment with different ways of getting someone to pause — curiosity, surprise, sound, visuals, breathing, reflection, attention and more.
We'll share what we learn openly.
Maybe one of these tiny experiments will make someone's day a little better.
A civic hero, to us, isn't someone who did one dramatic thing once. It's someone who does the right thing on a Tuesday, when no one's watching, for the hundredth time

Starting soon: Civic Hero of the Week. One verified story, every week, of an ordinary Indian doing something extraordinary consistently. First one drops 14th September 2026.

A positive civic story from Bengaluru.
NammaKasa lets citizens report civic issues — but what caught my attention was the before & after.
Problem → Report → Action → Proof of resolution.
That's more powerful than 100 angry posts saying “government is doing nothing.”
Make the problem visible. Make the action visible. Make the improvement visible.
This is how civic participation should work.
@NammaKasa
Before you complain about the system, use the system.
See garbage? Report it.
Broken road? Report it.
Open drain? Report it.
Civic issue? Report it.
Use Swachhata-MoHUA and create a documented complaint.
Complaint → Reference number → Follow-up → Escalation
Don’t just create noise on X.
Create a record.

Indian youth have officially unlocked a new government job: doing the municipality’s work for free.
Pay taxes, clean your own streets, manage your own garbage and then applaud the system for “Swachh Bharat.”
Incredible governance model. 👏
Before we feature anyone as a Civic Hero, we verify their story — talk to them directly, find someone who can independently confirm it, and only publish with their consent. No exaggeration, no fake stats. That's the whole point.

Well if one person can create a series of + Influence we want such infuence to go viral and inspire millions across our country. One small habit adapated by millions can create a nuclear fission which world has never seen and we truly believe it will happen in india this decade.

The Bittu Tabhi fever is machaoing “tabahi” (in the positive sense) as several youth are getting infected with a deep desire to clean up & reclaim their precincts
I think @narendramodi ji should immediately felicitate this Swachh Bharat Warrior and make him the Yuva Brand Ambassador for Swachh Bharat
Do this on 2nd October with the whole country watching.
I can guarantee you we will witness a real Swachhata Revolution across India

We are too upcoming up with a series of hero's to celebrate the indians who put efforts for public infrastructure without expecting any applause.
This is a great intitiave of @thebetterindia Kudos for delivering hopes to millions.
As we are celebrating getting our rivers and streets cleaned, I wanted to share about TeluguAbbayiKanth1…
Over the last few years, he has highlighted 20+ temples, historical sites and water bodies that were lost in garbage.
He is focused on restoring our history and bringing these places back into focus. Kudos to him, and do follow him on Instagram.
The problem remain same, when someone find a place piled up with grabage rest of the citizens start building up that pile instead of raising to authority or taking intitiative to clean it up. Raise to the public representative of locality on public platform and we see the magic. One habit when reversed could do miracles.
@narendramodi Ji.. Gurugram is part of India.. it is not like Iran about which you avoid talking citing International Relations... By living in Gurugram our relationships are ruining as nobody wants to come to us.. No Roads only Garbage & Gobbar on streets.. सब खा गए @BJP4India
Reply with one thing: name someone (no need to tag them) who quietly does something good for strangers or their neighbourhood. We're collecting these Gems.

Behavioural science has a name for this: the Habit Loop — cue, routine, reward. Most civic 'awareness' campaigns skip straight to asking for the routine without ever building the cue or the reward. That's why they don't stick.
