Check it out everyone! @majidmanzarpour is a great guy!
DEUS is a dark-fantasy boss rush, built in conversation with Savi, the AI on @spawn powered by Opus 5.5. All of it came out of that back-and-forth. Ask me anything about how it was made and play below 👇

Yeah this is what @spawn feels like
gave opus 5.5 a song and said “make a music video for me” it handled the storyboards, animation, lip sync and final edit. it came back with an ENTIRE ANIME MUSIC VIDEO. full workflow below

Wrapped up Cloudbreak Sanctuary last night. A new arena in One Hit Kill. A lone tea house. A bamboo bridge. Meet your opponent in the middle... but don't fall to your death. MADE ON @spawn (video too actually)

Yep I can actually have fun doing the design part. I don't wanna be looking for a syntax error for 6 hours.
"using ai to build games takes the fun of development away" bro i never had this much fun building anything in life what are you even talking about

Took a little break from One Hit Kill today to mess with Opus 5.5 on @spawn Made the prototype for my side project: GunForge Took about 1 hour, crazy how it made the shooting feel pretty good with just a few prompts.

I was born too late to explore the earth. I was born too early to explore the stars. I was born just in time to build worlds with @spawn.

Time to name a NPC - Jev, Breaker of Spirits
JEV is now in Spawn it makes decisions 10 times a second. creators are already using it for NPCs, bosses, and puzzles that fight back. make your own. just ask Savi.

The lore of the game is getting fleshed out. Had some fun generating this: Trapped in the desolate Purgatory of Diyu, forgotten spirits face an eternal sentence under the uncaring gaze of the Celestial Court. But the cage has cracked... Here is the secret history of the First Breakers and the war coming to the cosmos. 1⃣The Breaking Before the grey expanse fell silent, seven legendary mortals refused to fade. They forged a desperate pact with the wild, primordial forces—fire, ice, lightning, and void—and raised seven mythical weapons. Driving their blades into the stone, they shattered the unbreakable fabric of Purgatory, ripping a path to the unknown and escaping the divine sentence. 2⃣The Recoil & The Demotion The escape humiliated the Celestial Court. When the reality rift collapsed, the seven weapons instantly drained. Their pristine metal turned brittle, pitted, and black, clattering onto the desolate stone as hollow scrap iron. The Court blamed Death for the tear. They stripped him of his universal charge over all souls and cast him down, bound to rule over this single, wretched remnant of Purgatory. 3⃣The Gambit Death did not destroy the useless scrap iron. He placed them on seven carved stone altars. He remembered what seven mortals did to get out. And if those blades are fully restored... they can be used to break in. 4⃣Memory Holds Power Steel is worthless in this realm—only experience has weight. The blades are not broken; they have amnesia. To awaken them, players must duel in the courts, offering the spirit echoes of the defeated—Death Tokens—to the altars. Fight. Slay. Reawaken the elements. Death is building his army... and the Celestial Court has no idea what is coming. 死: ONE HIT KILL

This tbh
I get making small games fast and hoping one goes viral. It makes sense. But with so many quick games now, I’m even more drawn to carefully crafted ones. We’re game devs, but we’re also artists. I want to make something I’m proud of, not just something optimized to sell.

A kid who knows how to raid in WoW is unironically a better hire than 99% of non gamers. They develop team skills, coordination, leadership, how to master the respect of 40 people, how to share loot, maintaining a raid schedule, showing up on time, clear direct communication, how to get along with unique personalities, creating and executing on strategies, failing and trying again (perseverance), delayed gratification, etc. Invaluable skills are developed during raiding that are transferrable to the real world.

if you can make a game in an hour, imagine what you and your friends could build in a year. we built Spawn to give you room for that. worlds 100x the size of GTA. 1000s of players together. portals connecting what you create. live today and improving every hour.
I've been building this action roguelike around fast, intense, brawly combat. But honestly, one of the most magical parts so far has been the portals between worlds. You go kingdom to kingdom, felling kings, taking their crowns and absorbing their powers. Each time you do, a portal to the next kingdom opens right in front of you. You can see into the next zone before you even enter it, run straight through without a loading screen, then turn around and look back at the world you just left. The engine in @spawn is what makes this possible, and it even supports portals between different games. Funny how something I didn't plan as a core part of the game is turning into one of my favorite things about it.
