How do you protect yourself from being conned or unknowingly giving away your personal data? Yesterday, at the Likoni Technical & Vocational College, the Ficha Uchi Campaign used interactive discussions, plays and creative performances by Maono Creatives to bring everyday data risks to life. From fake competitions and prize offers to suspicious calls, links and requests for personal information, participants explored how data can be collected without informed consent and what they can do about it. Through storytelling, participants identified potential data violations, asked questions and learned to think before sharing. Think before you share. Ask questions. Know your rights.
