This marks their 3rd weekly purchase over the last 4 weeks.
As a result, the 4-week average of institutional purchases rose to +$2.9 billion.
At the same time, hedge funds purchased +$1.2 billion, bringing their 4-week average of purchases up to +$1.6 billion.
Meanwhile, retail investors sold -$2.2 billion last week, posting their 8th consecutive weekly sale.
Retail investors have now sold an average of -$1.9 billion in US equities per week over the last 4 weeks.
Institutions are buying while retail is selling.
