"And this is a post from the Israel War Room. And it's really coming in from Iran International English, but it says, "Breaking: Iran's terror regime is reportedly expanding its maritime terror campaign into East Asia with the IRGC recruiting and training foreign operatives to attack ships, ports, and strategic waterways, including major ports in China". Again, that is according to Iran International English saying that Iran is exporting terrorism across the globe and threatening some of the world's most critical trade routes. What is there to take away from that? Because that's very concerning, not just to the people in that region. I'm sure it's probably fairly concerning to people worldwide.
Without a doubt, this regime, like I said earlier, its survival depends on perpetual friction—friction with the people of Iran and friction with the world outside. This is a medieval, fundamentalist, extremist Islamist regime. Their entity has nothing to do with Islam, but rather the cloak of Islam. The offramp to this is really the people of Iran. That is what our focus will be. And we are happy that the members of the United States Congress, the Foreign Affairs Committee, recently tweeted a post by President Trump pointing to the need to end executions in Iran, and the pressure must be placed on the regime in Iran to end executions. That is an expression of support for the Iranian people.
You know, more than 600 people have been executed in Iran over the past few months. On August 19th, 12 people were executed. August 23rd, six people were executed. This is a weak and scared regime. It's scared of its people more than it is of external conflict. So, there should be a concerted effort at the United Nations and internationally, certainly helped by the United States, to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice.
Certainly, we will be doing our part. Our community will be participating at a rally on September 22nd outside the UN, the same day President Trump is due to address the United Nations, to call an end to executions in Iran. Support the cause of the Iranian people for what we have thus far shied away from, which is regime change in Iran—regime change by the people of Iran, not by American soldiers or any of its allies, but by the people of Iran and their organized resistance. That must happen politically first before we see a true change in Iran."
