We deeply regret the ratification today by the Libyan Parliament of the so-called Libyan-Türkiye Memorandum of Understanding on the delimitation of maritime jurisdictions in the Mediterranean Sea.
We recall that the EU’s position on this matter was clearly stated by the European Council in 2019 and remains unchanged.
This agreement infringes upon the sovereign rights of third states, it does not comply with the Law of the Sea, and is null and void.
We reaffirm our solidarity with Greece and Cyprus.
We reiterate the EU's well known position against any outside interference in Libya.

When it comes to diplomacy, it is very evident that the United States of America has lost its credibility in the world. Thus, Iran’s skepticism is totally justified.
Not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran. There will be no negotiations until the United States takes steps to build trust. That process must begin with the full fulfillment of all Iran’s conditions.

Travel Advisory for France, Belgium and Italy
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in view of escalating unrest and disruptions to public order in France, Belgium and Italy, advises Iranian nationals to refrain from non-essential travel to these countries and to avoid areas affected by unrest.
Iranian nationals currently in France, Belgium and Italy are advised to stay away from areas of heightened tension and locations where clashes are occurring, and to avoid unnecessary movement, particularly in areas affected by unrest.
In light of the possibility of further unrest, restrictions on movement and disruptions to public transportation services, Iranian nationals are urged to check the latest security situation and public transportation updates before travelling and to keep the contact details of the diplomatic missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in France, Belgium and Italy readily available.
