About four years ago, I asked Elon and Tesla to add a “ride share mode” to Teslas. Still waiting. This request came after one of my Turo renters finished the trip and asked about where I lived. Then they asked if they should delete the footage from sentry mode. They went on to tell me how they can see where I keep the Tesla fleet, my dog, and information from my co-hosts. While it was nice of them to ask, that footage shouldn’t have been there to see. I’ve avoided navigating to my home address so it doesn’t show as a previous destination. In an age where Teslas and their owners are being targeted, it’s now or never. Privacy matters. Please give us “ride share mode”.
