The CLARITY Act didn't advance in the Senate today, which was a disappointment. While it's possible bi-partisan conversations continue and it lives to fight another day, we can't wait on Congress anymore.
The SEC and CFTC have the tools they need to create clear rules under existing authority, and I expect will begin working on this in earnest.
So clarity is coming to crypto regardless.
And of course GENIUS is already the law of the land for stablecoins, which is even more permissive on rewards. There were some concessions we made on CLARITY that were tough to swallow, so perhaps it's for the best.
Crypto can't be uninvented. With clarity emerging through the regulators, we'll continue updating the financial system.

On May 7th, 2025, Outflow began as just an idea. It ended with a single question: how does this change the world?
Outflow turns real solar installations, actual panels on actual roofs, into digital art on the blockchain. Soon, each piece will also carry a permanent, verifiable record of exactly how much real electricity that specific system has produced over its lifetime.
Solar energy is one of the most abundant resources, and the people generating it should be the ones capturing its value. That means real ownership, liquidity, and self agency over their own solar systems. Solar should not just save money. It should make money. We think the current model is wrong. Our goal is for the value of the NFT, and of Outflow itself, to flow back to the very solar system owners who helped produce it. That is how we incentivize the private sector, rather than leaning on government subsidies. That's one of the biggest things we hope to achieve.
Every project we tokenize is backed by a real system and real installers. Our system pulls real production data directly from each installation's own monitoring hardware, verifies it, and we're actively bringing that fully online.
We started with digital art inspired by the actual solar projects we work with. That's step one. We're building toward something bigger: tokenizing real historical solar electricity production itself, on chain records of a system's real lifetime energy output, permanently attached to the projects that generated it. Outflow's long term vision is to move the world toward decentralization through rooftop solar and blockchain technology.
Everything we do runs on Outflow's Pyramid to Success, inspired by Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs:
1. Trust, Respect, and Transparency. That's the foundation.
2. Creativity, Innovation, Verification, and Traceability.
3. Making Everyday Americans Wealthy.
4. If we get those right, we believe we have the opportunity to curve the arc of climate change.
5. And if we curve the arc of climate change, we have the opportunity to move the needle of humankind.
We want America to lead the world in exporting real, verifiable clean energy value, produced here, owned by the people who made it, open for anyone in the world to hold a piece of.
