On Friday, LSU and Louisiana AG Liz Murrill filed a motion to dismiss the SEC’s federal lawsuit, which came during a time in which both sides had been in discussions on a resolution.
LA Attorney General Liz Murrill, on Thursday:
“The case is improper and moot”
Amid efforts to reach a resolution, the SEC has released a statement on LSU seeking to dismiss the federal lawsuit filed by the conference.
“These concerns remain unresolved. The conference is preparing its response in court and will uphold the standards agreed upon by its member universities and the responsibilities of conference membership”
