Overigens deed ik mee aan die actie in 1967 (het zuiveren van tuig in het Amsterdamse CS). Wij golden toen als voorbeeld voor de nieuwe lichting die in 1970 de Dam heeft schoongeveegd.
Ja, zo ging dat destijds. Wij (matrozen uit Den Helder) hebben - samen met de mariniers uit Doorn - toen in Amsterdam een einde gemaakt aan de terreur van grote groepen tuig dat vrouwen en meisjes lastigviel en de politie wegkeek. Zo was het CS in no-time gezuiverd.
