Should parents ask their children to leave home the moment they become adults?
Personally, I think becoming an adult doesn’t automatically mean you are ready to survive on your own.
Children should be prepared for independence, financially, emotionally and practically. If they are ready to move out, let them go. If they’re still finding their feet, there’s nothing wrong with giving them time.
But there also comes a point where “I’m still at home” must become “I’m preparing to stand on my own.” 😂
What do you think! Should adult children have a deadline to leave home, or should parents let them decide when they’re ready?
