Only 16% of law professors say a conservative would be a “very positive fit” at their law school.
And 40% of faculty nationwide say a conservative colleague would be a poor fit.
The dangerous imbalance is stark: Many professors don’t even want the other side in the room.
Students deserve genuine diversity of thought, not just diversity that fits one ideology.

REPORT: Left-leaning and liberal election law professors outnumber right-of-center and conservative professors by 76 to 12, according to the @PILFoundation's latest report, writes @FredLucasWH.

🚨 For the first time ever, PILF quantified the ideological makeup of America’s election-law professors and found what our new report calls a “dangerous imbalance.”

🚨 NEW REPORT: The election lawyers of tomorrow are being trained in overwhelmingly left-leaning classrooms.
PILF reviewed every ABA-accredited law school and found 70% of classes lean left. Among schools offering election law, left/liberal professors outnumber right-of-center/conservative professors 76 to 12.
Our latest report examines what this ideological imbalance in the legal pipeline could mean for the next generation of election lawyers shaping election law in America. #electionlaw#ABA

WATCH: PILF President J. Christian Adams discusses PILF’s work documenting noncitizens and deceased registrants on voter rolls and praises @AGToddBlanche and @TheJusticeDept for enforcing federal law against noncitizen voting.
And the fight over mail-in voting is far from over:
“This is just the opening round.”
Here’s yet another lawsuit from groups on the left challenging an election law without a plaintiff.
A federal judge dismissed the challenge to Indiana’s proof-of-citizenship laws for lack of standing, calling it “curious” that the groups challenging the laws did not include an affected voter as a plaintiff.
That’s the problem with reflexive litigation: alleging harm isn’t the same as proving someone was harmed.
The left says #resist by any means necessary. News flash: the #resist mindset can’t substitute for standing in federal court.

The DOJ is suing Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson over the state’s refusal to turn over its voter rolls.
UT law doesn’t allow for full election transparency. It allows portions of the voter roll to be concealed from the public.
PILF is already on the front lines of the fight for voter roll transparency in Utah. This November, we’ll argue Lyman v. Henderson before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

CA didn’t always have this problem.
Voting used to be local, personal, and convenient. Polling places were even in neighbors’ garages.
Now? Stolen identities and paid signatures on Skid Row.
From the driveway to Skid Row, look how far CA has come. nypost.com/2026/09/10/us-new…
PILF applauds Secretary @FrankLaRose for using federal SAVE data to improve voter list maintenance.
OH just removed another 75 noncitizens from its voter rolls.
Accurate data. Ongoing verification. Individual review.
This is the gold standard. ohiosos.gov/office/media-cen…
“To demonstrate the impact a single vote—or a single illegal vote—could have on an election, the Public Interest Legal Foundation established a database showing 1,376 tied elections and 531 contests decided by a single vote since 1982.”

“Dirty voters rolls in states across the country plague the U.S. election system, and open the door to election fraud. In California, a review by the Public Interest Legal Foundation last year found nearly 95,000 deceased registrants, tens of thousands of interstate duplicates, and thousands more registrants with placeholder or fictitious birthdates.
“The election integrity watchdog notes California’s dirty voter rolls are just the tip of the iceberg.
“These are failures that put election security at risk,” said PILF President J. Christian Adams in a press release. “California’s voter roll is riddled with errors. State officials must act to fix these problems before another election cycle passes.”

Another election. Another EXACT TIE.
507–507. Every. Vote. Matters.
But instead of sending the tied race back to the voters, the Washington County Commission decided the winner itself.
Games of chance are tough tiebreakers, but even a coin toss might feel fairer than this.
Yet another reminder: elections really can come down to ONE vote.

"We've been litigating this issue for a decade. We've been in federal court all over the country, from Maine to California to Hawaii, arguing that states needed to do a better job maintaining ... It shouldn't be up to groups like ours to find the six-time duplicate in Pittsburgh. Josh Shapiro's government should be doing a better job. "
