My daily mood is usually revenue-driven, and it sucks.
As my business has grown, my baseline did it either along the way.
I still remember when i got freaking excited for making my first internet dollar or my first $100 day.
Now when I make less than $2k in a day, I feel sad.
And most likely in a few months the new baseline will be 3k, then 5k and so on.
I hope it stops at a certain level.
It so damn stupid feeling like that, if I think it objectively. Just a year ago, I would kill to be in this situation.
Furthermore, I should also be more grateful since Iβm in top 1% income in my country (even though the bar is too low here)
Idk if itβs ambition or itβs the sense that everything will vanish overnight, and app business wonβt be a thing anymore.
Or both.
Being so extremely Apple-dependent doesnβt help either.
I know that if that happens, with my current skillset, i could pivot to saas or whatever, and still make a decent living from internet money.
Or in the worst scenario, I would code in a 9-5 again (if thatβs still a thing) or back to deliver pizza like in my 20s
But still the uncertainty is there everyday.
Talking to
@adriamatz the other day made me realize that, at least itβs not only me, and he was struggling as well with the same feelings.
Do you think app business will last for the next years?
How do you manage the uncertainty?
