NEW: The Cook Political Report has officially shifted its rating of the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota from "Likely Democrat" to "Lean Democrat."
That development is good news for Michele Tafoya who is hoping to be the first Republican to win a U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota since Norm Coleman in 2002.
Last month, RealClearPolitics shifted its rating of the Minnesota Senate race from "Leans Dem" to "Toss Up."
Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, the DFL candidate in the race, currently leads in RealClearPolitics' polling average by +3.2%.

BATTLEGROUND DETROIT: @MikeTobinFox reports on the latest developments in Michigan’s neck-and-neck Senate race. Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed has confirmed that his sister-in-law previously sued the Obama administration after being placed on a federal terror watchlist—revelations coming to light just days before El-Sayed shares the stage with former President Barack Obama. Meanwhile, Republican candidate Mike Rogers is aggressively building support across Detroit, setting the stage for high-profile visits from national leaders and a fierce final debate.

Dr Abdul El-Sayed takes aim at Trump and Mike Rogers ahead of Sunday's Michigan visit:
“Mike Rogers hasn't seen a new idea since 1995!” El-Sayed argues that Trump's appearance alongside Rogers represents more of the same, not real change.

Fox News reached out to the FBI to confirm Jukaku was ever placed on a terrorist watchlist.
The FBI responded: "It is the U.S. government’s policy to neither confirm nor deny a person’s inclusion in the Terrorist Screening Dataset, commonly known as the terrorist watchlist."
Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed tells @MikeTobinFox that his sister-in-law was on a federal terror watchlist years ago, saying she sued and was subsequently removed.
EL-SAYED: "She did nothing wrong and was captured on that and then sued and got off. So the idea that you can be placed on something like that, because of exactly the infrastructure that Mike Rogers and his Flock camera and his Patriot Act and his surveillance state can do is exactly the point. So she sued. And what happened afterwards? You know what happened, right? She was removed... You've got this system where folks are guilty until proven innocent because they've got different kinds of names, because of the infrastructure that people like Mike Rogers set up..."

NEW: Brand new @FoxNews power rankings this AM. For the first time, FOX is moving the Minnesota Senate race from "likely Democrat" to "lean Democrat", as polling shows Republican Michele Tafoya winning independents over progressive MN Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan. The race is significantly tightening, with a recent KARE/MN Star Tribune poll putting it at 47% Flanagan, 43% Tafoya with 9% of voters still undecided.
Republicans haven't held a US Senate seat in Minnesota since 2009. They feel good about their chances to end that streak with Tafoya. Tafoya & Flanagan will square off face to face for their first debate on Friday.

BREAKING: Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) responds to federal raid of her DC home this morning. The search warrant was approved by a federal judge & sources tell @FoxNews it is in connection to an ongoing criminal investigation into potential immigration fraud, including the immigration paperwork filed by the Somali-born Congresswoman’s late father when she was a child.
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.
I will not be silenced.
