🚨Mobility🚨
Want to improve your ankle mobility? Try THESE 4 exercises‼️
ㅤ
1.) Modified Seated Calf Raise: Sit on a bench with your toes elevated, heels hanging off the edge, and a plate resting on your knees. Slowly raise and lower your heels through a full range of motion. This helps strengthen the calf and improve control through your ankle's range of motion.
ㅤ
2.) Banded Dorsiflexion: Loop a band around the top of your foot and pull your toes up toward your shin against the resistance. This targets the muscles that lift your foot, helping with that "toes up" position.
ㅤ
3.) Banded Plantar Flexion: Loop a band around the ball of your foot and push down/point your toes against the resistance. This strengthens the muscles that push your foot down.
ㅤ
4.) Half Kneeling Ankle Mobs Against Wall: In a half kneeling position, drive your front knee toward the wall while keeping your heel down. This helps open up the ankle joint and improve your dorsiflexion range for things like squatting.
