This week on #BennettsBuddies with the @pspca, meet Brownie! 🐾
Brownie can be a little shy when she first meets you, but give her some time and you’ll get to see her silly, sweet side come out. 💕

Ajax's foster mom says it best... “Ajax is the perfect senior package!” ❤️
At 14 years young, you’d never know it. Ajax is housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, loves other dogs, and still enjoys his walks - including the occasional zoomie! He’s just as happy curling up for a nap afterward, preferably on a comfy couch with some stuffy toys and a person nearby.
Now he just needs someone to make him a permanent part of their family.
Thanks to our friends at @Freshpet, Ajax’s adoption fee is waived through the end of the year, along with the adoption fees for all of our senior animals.
Email adoptions@pspca.org to meet him!

None of it would be possible without you.

It started with a view from a window.

Our team got to work right away. Corona was given medication to quickly rid her of the fleas feeding on her. She's now on a steady routine of care: medicated baths every three days to soothe her irritated skin, ear cleanings, and eye flushes in tandem with antibiotic ointment twice a day to help clear the infection in her left eye.

Corona has spent too much of her life hungry, itchy, and uncomfortable. But today, she's safe, and our team is making sure every day is a little better than the one before.
This $5 Friday, will you help Corona heal? Please consider donating today.

A few of our newest Chihuahuas and small dogs are now available for adoption!
Many are understandably still nervous, but that’s exactly why we want to find them homes ASAP. In patient homes that will let them come out of their shells on their own terms, we know they will blossom!
If you’re interested in meeting them, head to our shelter any day. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with their vaccination records.

Today, more than 40 lives are changing for the better.
Moose is one of them.
His steps may be a little wobbly, but every little step forward is a reminder of how far he’s come.
Learn more about his rescue in our previous posts.

Moose was rescued alongside dozens of small dogs last Friday. Their suffering was easy to see - matting, eye ulcers, visible tumors.
But Moose's wasn't so obvious.
While he could stand, he couldn't walk or move forward without significant assistance. When he tried, he would tremor. He was uncoordinated and unsteady.

His suffering was silent, but we heard him anyway.
Our team is working hard to determine what is happening and how we can best help him.
We are doing that for each of the 44 animals rescued last week, and for each and every animal in our care.
We can't do any of this without you.
Please consider donating to our lifesaving mission. We need you.

It happened last Friday - our Animal Law Enforcement team executed a search warrant on a condemned residence after a concerning tip came in.
Over 40 animals inside had been left behind in a structure the residents themselves had reportedly stopped living in – one person was living outside of the home in their car, while dozens of animals remained inside a home that had already been declared unsafe.

This rescue happened fast, and the need is immediate. We are already stretched thin, and we cannot do this without support.
If you're able, please consider donating $5 this Friday. Right now, every dollar makes a direct difference in how quickly these animals get the care they urgently need.
