The large majority of the bond is for school safety and campus renovations. That category makes up nearly 80% of the bond, followed by instructional technology at about 11%, and the work at the district’s stadiums is only about 1% of the total package.

All of the district’s fine arts programs have something included in the PISD bond. There is more than $6.7 million budgeted for music, nearly $4 million for stage upgrades, $3 million for art, $500,000 for theater and new band trailers proposed for each senior high school.
