THE BLOCK: MoonPay has agreed to acquire private markets infrastructure platform North Capital in an all-stock deal valued at more than $60 million, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told The Block.
North Capital will become a wholly owned subsidiary of MoonPay. The deal prepares MoonPay to provide infrastructure for wider adoption of tokenized real-world assets, the source said.
