Every cycle ends in Pain | Building @Ocean_Bsc | Making the BNB ecosystem easier to understand

Hidden Rain Village
When an exchange gets hit, the people affected are part of the same community, whichever platform they use. Bitget detected unauthorized transfers from part of its hot and warm wallets yesterday at 18:31 UTC, around 351.6M. Cold storage held, and the company says the loss sits within a user protection fund holding over 464M. Withdrawals were paused during the review, which is its own kind of cost. What stood out to me is the response from outside Bitget. Binance security team is working with them on fund tracing and intelligence sharing, per @_RichardTeng .CZ said Binance, the BNB Chain ecosystem and the community would do their utmost to help. We spend a lot of time comparing ecosystems by volume, fees and what they ship. How they behave when a competitor is having the worst day of its year says as much. As someone building in BNB, that's a standard worth carrying forward.
Tough day for Bitget. I expect and know @Binance, the @BNBCHAIN ecosystem, and the community will do everything we can to help. Stay SAFU! 🙏

Moving between chains, keeping up with positions, paying for swaps. Three everyday details behind Trust Wallet latest updates. MoonPay Trade is now integrated into the app, supporting trades across seven chains with deeper liquidity and faster settlement than routing it yourself. More of the process happens inside the wallet you already use. Before confirming, check the destination network, quoted output and fees. Perps now have price and P&L alerts. Set your targets and get notified when they're reached. Useful for keeping up with a position, but an alert does not close it or execute a trade. And a reminder for BNB Chain users: eligible swaps between Lista DAO's slisBNB and BNB have a 0% Trust Wallet swap fee under the existing campaign. Network fees and other execution costs can still apply. What I like about these updates is how closely they relate to ordinary use. Moving assets, knowing when something needs attention, and removing a wallet fee from eligible conversions. Five days ago someone in my replies asked for exactly this: better cross chain trading inside the wallet. The integration was obviously in the works long before that. But it's a good week when the thing people ask for out loud shows up in the app. Availability and terms apply. Perps carry significant risk.
MoonPay Trade is now live in Trust Wallet, bringing more liquidity and cross-chain trades directly into the app. @moonpay Trade covers 7 chains providing quicker settlement and access to deeper liquidity, all accessible through your Trust Wallet app

Seeing "Pain, you are invited" at the end of this made me smile. Thank you @TrustWallet for the personal invitation to Beyond 9YA in Singapore. I've put a lot into covering this ecosystem and making it easier to understand. Getting this from the team means a lot. Oct 6, 6–10 PM SGT at Trust Wallet House (HighHouse), during Token2049. If you're going to be in Singapore, registration is in the replies. Appreciate you thinking of me.

One part of building crypto happens far outside the product. CZ post about meeting Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio is a reminder of that. For builders, adoption eventually brings questions that code alone cannot answer. Can people access the product? Do they understand it? What rules will businesses operate under? Conversations with policymakers can help put those questions on the table. Their value becomes clearer in what follows: practical frameworks, useful services and people willing to build around them. That’s why I pay attention to this side of CZ work. Building relationships with the people shaping those conditions deserves a place in the adoption conversation too.
Was a pleasure meeting H.E. President Julius Maada Wonie Bio of Sierra Leone🇸🇱 Crypto adoption continues...

Trust Wallet latest challenge puts Robinhood Stock Tokens in focus. Here’s how the competition works. A $50,000 USDG reward pool for the top 200 eligible wallets, ranked by cumulative qualifying swap volume. The campaign runs from September 23 to October 7, 2026, starting and ending at 12:00 UTC. Three details worth understanding: • Each qualifying swap must be worth at least $10. • You need at least $10,000 in cumulative qualifying volume to be eligible for a leaderboard reward. That is trading volume, not a required deposit. • Swaps must include an eligible Stock Token on Robinhood Chain and happen through Trust Wallet’s app or browser extension. External dApp swaps do not count. Both buying and selling eligible tokens count. Reaching the volume threshold alone does not guarantee a reward. Check regional eligibility, the eligible contracts and issuer terms before participating. Wash trading can disqualify you. What interests me is the connection to everyday wallet use: tokenized assets becoming something people can access through a familiar interface. Understand the assets. Know the rules. Keep the reward separate from the trading decision.
A new challenge has landed. Eligible users who trade Robinhood Stock Tokens by @RobinhoodCrypto on Trust Wallet have a chance of winning a share of $50,000 USDG rewards. Campaign runs for 2 weeks, now live. T&Cs and exclusions apply. Learn more: trustwallet.com/blog/campaig…

The $10,000 volume threshold is a minimum eligibility requirement, not a guaranteed reward.

PancakeSwap turns six today. For anyone building on BNB Chain, its evolution is worth paying attention to. Its anniversary update reports $4.4T+ traded, 203M+ users, billions in tokenized asset volume and 11 chains live. What started on BNB Chain now serves multiple ecosystems and a broader range of assets. That’s the part of the anniversary that stands out to me. It connects directly to the tokenization work I’ve been covering. Issuing an asset is one step. Giving people somewhere to find it and trade it is another. PancakeSwap helps connect those steps. As a builder, I see six years of adapting a product as the things people want to do onchain change. Expanding its reach while continuing to build on its roots. For the BNB ecosystem, that’s worth celebrating: something built here becoming useful far beyond it. Happy sixth @PancakeSwap Keep cooking.
6 YEARS. ALWAYS COOKING. 🥞 Six years ago, we opened our doors with an idea. Today, PancakeSwap powers liquidity across multiple ecosystems, ranks among the most trusted names in DeFi, and remains one of the most active hubs in all of crypto. → $4.4T+ traded → 203M+ users → Billions in tokenized asset volume → 11 chains, live And we're just getting started. The oven's on, and the next few months are one of the biggest stretches in PancakeSwap's history. We've never been more bullish on what's ahead. gPancake

More ways to use what you hold. What stands out to me about Trust Wallet under @felix_fan is the attention to both capability and everyday usability. The capability side, this year alone: perps with 200+ markets, prediction markets, limit orders, an AI agent kit, address poisoning protection, 0% swaps on stablecoins and staked assets, Arc on day one. The usability side: better quotes, clearer warnings, fewer steps. And the pace: five meme trading fixes promised on Sept 10, first one live in seven days, two swap upgrades in 48 hours. That's why the multitool felt like the right image. Each addition serves a purpose. Together, they make the wallet more useful without making it harder to navigate. I've been covering these updates because the details matter to me as a builder. Announcing a direction is one thing. Following through with improvements people can actually use, the same week, is how a team earns confidence. That's the momentum I'm watching at @TrustWallet and what I want to see Felix and the team keep building on.

Trust Wallet is removing a cost from a practical part of DeFi: moving between eligible staked and wrapped assets. Its wallet swap fee is now 0% on qualifying pairs. Here’s what that means. Liquid staking tokens represent staked assets while allowing you to transfer or trade that exposure. Wrapped tokens make native assets usable in compatible DeFi contracts. Eligible assets include: Ethereum: weETH, stETH, wstETH, WETH Solana: WSOL, JitoSOL, BNSOL, INF, JupSOL BNB Chain: WBNB, slisBNB Use an eligible pair on the same supported network through Trust Wallet’s Swap interface. For example, stETH to ETH can qualify. This doesn’t extend to every swap involving stETH. No activation required. Check that the Trust Wallet fee shows 0% before confirming. Network fees still apply, and other execution costs can affect what you receive. Review the final quote. Offer unavailable in the UK. For those of us building on BNB Chain, seeing WBNB and slisBNB included makes this especially relevant. What I like here is the practical focus: reducing the cost of moving between assets people already use.
Another reason to just use Trust Wallet. Enjoy 0% Trust Wallet swap fees when you swap major wrapped and staked assets on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana.

An AI agent with a wallet needs a budget and clear permissions. Yesterday’s BNB WEEK mentioned the Agent Lifecycle Protocol. One detail in the draft deserves a closer look: spending rules are enforced at the wallet’s signing layer. A simple example: you authorize an agent to buy data from approved providers within a daily budget. Under the design described, if a prompt injection tricks the model into requesting payment to an unlisted address, the signing layer refuses. BNB Chain ALP v0.4 draft defines four spending guardrails: balance threshold, refill amount, daily spend cap and approved provider list. Exceeding the daily cap triggers suspension. The post also identifies Trust Wallet as maintaining the wallet integration through Trust Wallet Agent Kit. As a builder, that separation is what interests me. The model can decide a payment would be useful. That alone shouldn’t give it permission to spend. ALP is still a draft. Enforcing spending limits independently of the model is a direction I want to see more builders explore.

🔸One year later, the Bhutan story feels even bigger. In September 2025, CZ showed what paying with BNB through Binance Pay looked like in Bhutan. Today, Binance Pay is connected to 3,700+ merchants across the country through DK Bank’s QR network. And globally, Binance Pay says it has processed $321B+ in transactions since 2021 across 21M+ merchants. From a crypto card in 2020 to everyday payments in 2026 CZ, would you rather see Binance Pay become the main crypto payment rail in more countries, or see the Binance Card push everyday crypto spending even further?
Pay in #BNB using @Binance Pay in Bhutan🇧🇹, nice and easy. 😏

BNB WEEK #02 Lower swap fees in Trust Wallet. More room in BSC blocks. New tools and funding for builders. This week's updates show how the ecosystem is taking shape, from everyday wallet use to AI agents and tokenized stocks. Seven developments, why they matter, and what's still open. September 13–19, 2026.

A wallet earns its place in your routine through the details. A quote that updates while you compare. A warning that helps you catch a mistake before you confirm. A slippage setting you don’t have to enter again. Following Trust Wallet recent updates has made me pay more attention to those moments. Individually, they look small. Together, they shape whether a product feels easy or exhausting. A launch gives people a reason to try. The everyday experience gives them a reason to stay. As a builder, that’s what I want to get better at noticing: the extra step people quietly put up with until someone removes it.

CLARITY stalled. Two days later, the SEC opened a narrower path for tokenized stocks. On September 15, the Senate failed to advance CLARITY through a procedural vote. The bill has not become law. That includes the proposed protections for people holding their own keys that I covered earlier. On September 17, the SEC announced its Innovation Exemption, providing temporary, conditional relief for certain venues and liquidity providers trading tokenized stocks. The conditions matter. Access is permissioned, qualifying tokens must preserve shareholder rights, and issuers have an opportunity to object. Rules against fraud still apply. My take for BNB Chain: these are product questions too. What rights come with the token? Who can trade it? What restrictions apply? Users should understand those answers before signing a transaction. That connects with the 20K hackathon for tokenized stocks I covered yesterday. I’d like to see builders turn those questions into clear, useful features. The exemption doesn’t replace CLARITY or automatically approve existing products. It gives builders a specific framework to examine. For me, the next step in tokenization is making these assets easier to use and easier to understand.

Getting stocks onchain opens the door. What people can do with them next is where builders come in. BNB Chain and Binance Web3 Wallet are putting $20,000 behind that next step. BNB Hack: Tokenized Stocks Edition runs September 16 to October 11, focused on products and agents built around bStocks, Ondo or xStocks on BSC. What interests me is the opportunity to turn access into everyday usefulness. Portfolio tools that explain what you hold. Automated rebalancing. Agents that translate a strategy into actions. Onboarding that makes a first transaction easier to understand. The challenge is building something people want to return to, alongside brokerage apps they already know how to use. My favorite detail: 25% of the judging score comes from a developer experience report. Build the product, document the friction, help improve the tools for the next builder. Last week I posted that only 5% of tokenized stocks are used for anything beyond buy and sell. This is $20,000 aimed at that number. The assets are here. Build what's next.

This is the first item off Felix list. A week ago he said Trust Wallet was solid for crypto "except meme trading" and put five fixes on a 2-3 week clock. I said I'd check back. Day 7 checkpoint: Shipped: swap quotes now load instantly and improve in real time as better quotes come in. That's the "faster refresh" item, live today. Bonus, not on the list: slippage simplified to Auto and Custom yesterday, with custom values remembered per network. In progress, per @felix_fan : one price source across the app. Still pending: lower fees, intent-based search, cleaner order history. Seven days from a public "we're not good enough at this" to a shipped fix is fast for a team of any size. One of five down, plus one that wasn't even on the list. On pace. Day 14 checkpoint next week.
We overhauled the entire swap experience. No more waiting. Swap quotes now displayed in a flash, and and it keeps getting better in real time as stronger quotes arrive. Available on Trust Wallet.

A new network shouldn't mean starting from scratch. Arc mainnet launched today, and @TrustWallet supports it from day one. Here's what that means if you're exploring Circle's new Layer 1 for stablecoin finance: 1. USDC pays the gas. Gas is the network fee for a transaction. On Arc you pay it in USDC, so there's no separate token to buy first. Fees still vary with network activity; they're just quoted in dollars. 2. Transactions settle in under a second. Arc is EVM compatible, so it uses the Ethereum style address format and tools most users already know. 3. The validators are institutions. BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, DTCC, ICE and others run the network. That's the part that makes Arc different from other Layer 1s. In Trust Wallet today: send, receive and swap on @arc with your keys staying yours. Update to the latest version, add Arc from the network list, and keep a few dollars of USDC on Arc for fees. That's the whole setup. Before moving funds: confirm both the sending and receiving side support Arc, and select the right network. A matching address doesn't make different networks interchangeable. New network. Your keys.
Today, @Arc is officially on mainnet and supported by Trust Wallet. Arc is an open Layer-1 EVM- compatible blockchain purpose-built for stablecoin finance. Now, you can seamlessly send, swap, and receive tokens on Arc chain via your self-custodial wallet.
