Correct! The screens are polarized for the pancake optics, of course, but there is an additional polarizer/retarder scheme that rejects almost all ambient light as long as it isn't somehow polarized itself. The only reflections are from the first surface, hence eyecup option.

Current headsets with micro oled and pancake optics have issues with glare. Especially if it’s a bright white object over a dark background. Is that issue solved with these glasses?
