Sudhir, I think you need to go out there and talk to people. That studio wears you out.
Two significant changes are visible at Jantar Mantar this time.
1. It has become an open-air studio for REELS.
There seem to be more content creators shooting videos than serious protesters pursuing an actual cause. PROTEST is the CONTENT now.
2. The fear of police action appears to have diminished.
Unlike earlier occasions, there is no visible fear of FIRs or arrest. The withdrawal of FIRs in the previous round seems to have reduced the perceived consequences of breaking the law.
Jantar Mantar was meant to be a place for democratic protest, not a permanent content studio, and certainly not a space where the law is seen as toothless.
