Old friends are the best friends. Jensen rocks. The Star Mind computer being co-engineered by SpaceX and Nvidia is far better than almost anyone expects and will reach volume production next year. Working with the incredibly talented Nvidia engineering team is pure joy!
Jensen Huang says he loves working with Elon Musk, and reveals their engineering teams are designing a new type of server to put data centers in space “I’m delighted that I love working with Elon. He’s using our technology for his own AI in training models and such, deploying models, of course." "Grok Bot is super cool. The demand for Grok Bot, the consumption for Grok Bot is really skyrocketing. And then, of course, he rents it." "And so the combination of these three things, he’s fairly unique in doing that. I guess Google does that. That would be yet another example." "And so I think he also has the advantage that he loves the intersection between computing and the physical buildouts. He loves that whole area. Nobody knows more about energy than he does." "One particular new market that we’re going to go explore together is putting data centers out in space. Our two engineering teams are working super closely together to create a new type of server, a new type of architecture that might be super good in space and on Earth.”

The ridiculous arguments by Ambani’s army of Internet shills make no sense On the one hand, they say Starlink couldn’t possibly compete with the amazing low prices offered by Ambani’s de facto monopoly in India and then, in the same breath, they essentially claim that Starlink would be too strong of a competitor! This is absurd hypocrisy and hyperbole. The reality is that competition would greatly benefit the average citizen in India by giving them more choices, as it always does. Ambani’s profits will be lower, but he is not going out of business. And, obviously, if Starlink is too expensive in India, no one will buy it, so SpaceX will need to make pricing affordable.
Something feels off with this chorus of “India’s internet is great and super cheap” … the data shows that Indian market is absolutely dominated by mobile. When they say it’s cheap and well connected factually this only applies to mobile usage. This makes sense because a tower connects thousands of subs instantly after construction and running fiber is a building by building or resident by resident job. This is also why “fixed wireless” has started growing fast. Follow the incentives. It’s the cheapest and shortest route to revenue. Due to this, India is amongst the highest mobile bandwidth usage populations on the planet. 30-40GB/month. (20-50% above US/UK usage) However, home Fiber lines in India pull closer to 300GB/month. 10x gap For context, that gap in the US and UK is 20-30x. It’s pretty ubiquitous that if you have access to a lot of more bandwidth you will use it. Bandwidth abundance does not favor mobile devices. I’d argue that it’s not very hard to believe that these paltry sub 5% fixed customer penetration numbers would be much higher if a cost effective alternative existed. Is that alternative existed it wouldn’t be crazy to expect to see the fixed customer numbers jump from 6% to maybe 10%, 15% or 20%. 100M-200M customers. And if the rest of the world is any precedent that would lead to a dramatic increase in overall bandwidth used. However, that would mean that mobile bandwidth usage would likely drop or stagnate with in home mobile usage.

Dear Prime Minister Ambani, Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India. Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete? There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better. Thank you 🙏

🚨 ELON MUSK IN 2011 ON REUSABLE ROCKETS Elon said the key to making humanity multiplanetary is developing a fully and rapidly reusable orbit-class rocket. He explained it’s an extremely hard engineering challenge because Earth’s gravity makes it just barely possible. A bit lower and it would be easy. A bit higher and it would be impossible. For a long time he wasn’t sure it could be done, but in the year before this talk he became confident it was possible. SpaceX would try to achieve it. They had a design that worked in simulations, but they knew reality would be the final test. x.com/ElonClipsX/status/1879…

Seriously
Amazon banning agents is the first opportunity I've seen since Amazon was founded for a startup to create an Amazon competitor. People will want agents to buy stuff for them. It will be one of the main use cases. And they won't want to use some Amazon-supplied agent to do it.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump will award Elon Musk the National Medal of Science tomorrow, the nation's HIGHEST honor for scientific achievement — Fox Well-deserved for Elon! 👏🏻 He'll will be honored at the White House "Science: A New Golden Age" Summit alongside Sergey Brin, Jensen Huang and Lisa Su Reusable rockets, Starlink, Tesla and FSD — practically NOBODY has pushed American innovation like Elon in our age! It's the first time Trump has EVER presented the medal, and his uncle John G. Trump won it under Reagan 47 was seen with Elon mere days ago, and they're meeting up again! LOVE IT!

🚨 JUST NOW: Elon Musk, shoulder to shoulder with President Trump, explains why AI is going to lift up ALL of humanity -- not force them into poverty @elonmusk: "I think by FAR the most likely outcome is an AGE OF ABUNDANCE where we don't have just universal basic income, we have universal HIGH income. And people speak about medical benefits. "Maybe it's worth talking a bit more about that. When you have robots and you have superintelligence, it means that EVERYONE in the world can have better medical care than anyone here, including ME. And wouldn't that be wonderful?!" Jobs are going to change. Jobs have ALWAYS changed. But being a computer used to be a job. There used to be buildings FULL of people doing calculations, but now digital computers to do those tasks. I don't think anyone is pining to go back and do calculations all day to do bank interest rates, which is what they used to do. So I think we'll see an evolution of roles. And as the President has mentioned, it's not as though unemployment has increased. In fact, there's a TREMENDOUS demand for people. So I think the most likely outcome--and it's probably worth looking at--the most likely outcome is one which is INCREDIBLY beneficial. And it's a future that you, if you could look into the future, it has a future you would WANT." WELL SAID, Elon. No notes 👏

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: President Trump CONFIRMS a group of terrorist were ARRESTED in the UK after they tried blowing up RAF Fairford Base — home to both US and UK troops "They were looking to do big damage to our fort...we had them under view for a long time. AND WE GOT 'EM." 👏🏻 "The arrests in the UK was fantastic. Working with Britain, it was an AMAZING job. We had them under investigation." THANK GOD THEY WERE CAUGHT!! That could've been a MAJOR terror attack. Multiple vans caught, bomb squads moved in, arrests made and evacuations Pray for every troop on that base! 🙏🏻 Thankfully the UK sprung into action with the US to make it all happen.

Keeping up with the Kardashevs
Elon Musk reveals why, measured against the sun's energy, human civilization barely registers as existing at all: "Right now we're very low on the Kardashev one scale. If you say what proportion of our planet's power are we harnessing, it's a very, very tiny number. And we're harnessing almost nothing of our star's power. The sun is truly an immense thing. It's difficult with words to characterize just how immense the sun is" "The sun is about 99.86% of all mass in the solar system. Most of the remaining 0.14% is Jupiter. The entire mass of Earth is in the tiny miscellaneous category. Earth is a tiny dust mote compared to the sun" "We currently use much less than a trillionth of the power output of the sun, and a trillion is a million times a million. So basically we're practically nowhere on the Kardashev two scale. On the Kardashev scale, we're still non-existent. We're not registering"
