Steven Pinker, Deborah Lipstadt, Benny Morris and Irwin Cotler are among more than 6,000 signatories to an open letter rejecting the accusation that Israel committed genocide in Gaza.
The letter argues that the allegation misrepresents Israel’s conduct and has been used to justify attacks on Jews worldwide. Its authors include Yossi Klein Halevi, Rabbi Yitz Greenberg, Rabbi Micha Odenheimer and historian Jonathan Karp.

《Do You Hear the People Sing?》中文常译“你听见人民在歌唱”或港版填词“问谁未发声”，在2014雨伞运动和2019反修例示威中被大量传唱，大陆主流流媒体一度下架英文原曲。
香港教育部门后来禁止学校演唱带政治信息的歌曲，更著名的《愿荣光归香港》后来被法院禁制。
所以这首曲在中方官员耳朵里，应该比普通百老汇名曲更刺耳。这次现场主唱的是同一部剧里的《One Day More》，只是掺进了前一首的旋律和歌词碎片，没有把整首“人民在歌唱”完整唱出来。
这首歌在剧情中的位置，恰恰是学生革命者准备起义前夕。
没文化很可怕，也许，在礼炮与红毯之下，也深埋着嘲讽与暗喻……

Les succès militaires ukrainiens 🇺🇦 se poursuivent sur un front de près de 90 km, entre Borova et Sloviansk
Sur ce front, les Ukrainiens sont en passe de sanctuariser Sloviansk, l'une des deux villes clés du Donbass, en éloignant la ligne de front. La ville de Lyman, qui forme le verrou nord du Donbass est désormais bien protégée et ravitaillée.
Le groupement russe "Zapad" (ouest) a subi une importante défaite cette année, tandis que d'autres actions offensives sont en cours, pour nettoyer les infiltrations russes plus au sud. Une grande partie des zones libérées n'ont pas été officiellement annoncées par les ukrainiens, il faudra encore attendre.
Ainsi, les offensives limitées des forces armées ukrainiennes en 2026 ont permis de libérer 2 fois plus de territoires que durant la contre-offensive de 2023...

A 49-year-old Hasidic man was mobilized in Ukraine while returning from Uman to Israel
Yonatan Karlinski-Mashek had traveled to Uman for Rosh Hashanah and presented an Israeli passport at the border on his way back. However, during the checks, authorities discovered that he had also retained Ukrainian citizenship. He was then taken off the bus and sent to the Odesa region to undergo the mobilization procedure.
The Jerusalem Post reported the case, while the Israeli Embassy confirmed that he had been detained.
According to media reports, Karlinski-Mashek is currently in the Odesa region and is awaiting assignment as a doctor to a unit in the Kharkiv area. His family tried to secure his release, but without success.
He was given a prayer book and provided with kosher food.
