𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 It was great to see e-CAN’s newest coach Mikkiel out on the pitch last night. He joins the football coaching staff at University of Gloucestershire, where e-CAN provide all of the coaches across both the women’s and men’s football programmes.

Last week e-CAN attended the BUCS Networking event at the Coventry Building Society Arena. It was a great opportunity to speak to other university staff and students from across England about all things football. Thank you to @BUCSsport for hosting!

Our director’s X account @SteveLilley4 has been hacked - please don’t open any links in DM’s 🙏

Thank you to @WordsMatter_ for giving us a great opportunity to hear their discussion on verbal abuse of children. We are partnering with this fantastic charity to build a toolkit that helps coaches communicate effectively with young players. #coachcpd #verbalabuse

This season sees U7s playing 3v3 for the first time. Over the summer County FAs have been doing great work to help clubs prepare. We recently visited one such event held by @wiltshirefa where e-CAN ran a Coach CPD session bespoke to 3v3. #grassroots #youthfootball #coachCPD

As mentioned previously, our central defender(s) swanned off on his holidays without recording his video(s) 😉 Here, @CostertonJ1993 talks us through our Managing Matchday CPD Workshop (no.5) ⚽️🎓👊

Another brilliant practitioner, Nath has a wealth of experience in Coaching and Coach Education. Don’t let the words “curriculum” and “periodisation” scare you off….this workshop is about developing a plan for your group of players and not just reacting from game days ⚽️🎓👊

Our pacy left winger (No.11) is experienced and knowledgeable Coach Advisor Nathan Ellis. Nathan is an expert on Periodisation and so explains the importance of creating and following a curriculum for your players / team ⚽️🎓😎

Workshop 10 of our CPD menu is targeted at those who coach their own child(ren). We hear of many fractured parent / child relationships due to the pressures of training and match days for both parties and so, have put together some fabulous resources to help navigate this ⚽️🎓👌
