3 things to understand about the 3 new women’s accusations about Josh Jacobs: 1) they went to police. not lawyers, not media. there was literally nothing for them to “gain” by going to police, apart from the desire to help the fourth victim
Smear campaign on Jacobs man we gotta stop. No charges why is that coming out anonymously like that when he never got in trouble I don’t like that
Community note
Josh Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property after his May arrest and was placed on the NFL exempt list. Additional prior allegations from three women were included in police records released publicly via records request. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id… nytimes.com/athletic/75783… espn.com/nfl/story/_/id

If this was happening under a Democrat there would be an incessant demand from the media and the left for Pete Buttigieg to fix this, and every day he didn't would be treated as a failure
BREAKING: As if flight prices weren't ugly enough, two major U.S. airlines are still charging solo passengers higher fares than groups of two or more. United & especially American are increasingly penalizing solo flyers, our latest analysis found - with some egregious examples.

For fifty eight years, my boss in Tokyo believed that beef should be sliced as thin as paper. In Japan, we cook thin meat for four seconds in boiling broth. That is our way. Then last month, the YouTube algorithm showed Director Sato a video of a man in Texas smoking a brisket. It changed his life. On Monday morning, he called me to his desk. His eyes were bloodshot. "Have you seen this?" he whispered, turning his monitor toward me. "The American pitmaster does not sleep for sixteen hours. He sits by the fire in the dark. He guards the meat like a castle." I said, "Sir, it is just a barbecue." He slammed his hand on the desk. "This is not cooking," he said. "This is a vigil." Last Saturday was our annual company picnic by the river in Kanagawa. Normally, we grill thin meat and yakisoba for two hours and go home at 2:00 PM. I arrived at 9:30 AM to help set up. Director Sato was already there. I want to be accurate here: he had been sitting in a folding chair since 10:00 PM on Friday night. He was wearing a towel around his head and staring at a massive black barrel smoker he had imported from Oklahoma. Inside I said: THIS MAN HAS ABANDONED CORPORATE LIFE FOR THE SMOKE. When we tried to help him, he held up a pair of metal tongs and clicked them twice. "Step back," he said calmly. "The stall has begun. Nobody opens the lid." Twelve Japanese accountants stood in complete silence around a barrel for four more hours. Nobody dared to eat a single noodle until he gave the signal. At 1:45 PM, he sliced the meat. It fell apart on the cutting board. My boss looked at the pink smoke ring, nodded once, and wiped a single tear from his cheek. He has already submitted an official budget request for a trailer smoker for next fiscal year.

I've talked a lot about Flávio Bolsonaro, the failed Brazilian candidate who fled to Miami this week and declared himself President of Brazil, because, for some reason, THAT'S a thing. We haven't talked much about his older brother, Eduardo, who is currently a resident of Houston, TX and who many thought was their father's real preferred candidate. A little background: Eduardo Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician, lawyer, and former federal police officer who served as a Federal Deputy for the state of São Paulo. The third son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, he is a prominent conservative figure in Brazilian politics known for advocating right-wing policies and maintaining close ties with conservative political movements internationally. In June 2026, the Supreme Court of Brazil unanimously convicted Eduardo Bolsonaro of coercion during a judicial proceeding. The court sentenced him to four years and two months in prison after prosecutors proved he used his political platform to lobby foreign officials - including members of the Trump administration - to enact sanctions and tariffs on Brazilian officials in an attempt to halt the prosecution of his father, Jair Bolsonaro. Because Eduardo Bolsonaro has been living in the United States, he was sentenced in absentia, leading Brazilian authorities to declare him at-large, issue an arrest warrant, and request an Interpol notice for his arrest. So, when people are saying #DeportTheBolsonaros, they are talking about more than Flávio. To reiterate, the United States should not be harboring fugitives who have done real harm to their home countries. The Bolsonaro brothers should be returned to Brazil to face justice.

CBS found Trump’s clemency wiped out at least $119 million in restitution owed to crime victims — small businesses, community banks, everyday people who got defrauded. Pardon power shouldn’t erase what courts ordered victims to be paid back. Congress needs to rein this in. cbsnews.com/projects/2026/tr…

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us. I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.
