A Calgary man has removed more than 1,000 pounds of garbage from the area around the Calgary Soldiers’ Memorial ahead of Remembrance Day. Matthew Thomas Edwards says he spent five days cleaning up the area, collecting 1,084 pounds of trash in 33 bags.
