I am grateful for my husband, though I recognize that there are other spouses who have not been as fortunate with their loved ones returning home safely. I sincerely appreciate everything, even on days when his PTSD challenges my patience. God is good!

Many might call it coincidence or luck, but I don’t really believe in that. I prayed for abundance and prosperity. Two nights ago, I prayed and anointed our home with oil. Today, I checked my HSA account to make sure I had enough for my copay, and I was surprised to see that my employer had contributed $525 a few days ago. Not a bad way to start the day! Then the doctor’s office let me know I have a $63 credit and don’t owe anything today. That warmed my heart. When I got home, my PMU artist texted back confirming my Saturday touchup appointment—completely free of charge. Plus, my full-body MRI appointment next month was extended with my husband's Veteran discount, bringing the cost down to $1875 instead of the usual $4362. How’s that for praying for abundance and prosperity? I truly feel like I’m winning and am blessed with abundance. God is real 🤗🥰😇

Am I petty??? I arrived at 0740 to my doctors appointment that is scheduled for 0800. The office is closed. I saw a young lady enter the building and unlock doors at 0800. I then waited a min to let her get settled in. I asked the young lady … “why schedule an appointment at 0800 and instruct me to be here at least 15 minutes early when you are not even here?” She smiled and walked away. Why are people so irresponsible and lack accountability?

Well, as I was doing the right thing… I get reprimanded as if I was the one doing the wrong thing 😳😏 I asked in a meeting if salary employees clock out for lunch (we are hourly slaves). I already know what the department of labor has to say about companies documenting employees times . Apparently, my supervisor was not picking up what I was putting down. She decided to say no ma’am please adhere to the labor laws. Then embarrass me as if I’m incompetent. Next time, I’m going to keep my mouth shut; and let her answer questions about her employees lunches and break time. Just trying to do good and I’m misunderstood.
